A PRIVATE EQUITY GAME

THIRTY FLOORS

Buy a company with its own debt. Run it. Then be one row of the spreadsheet.

One company, three acts and an epilogue, one floor at a time. In each act you are someone else, on another floor, living with what the floor above decided. Then you go back up and count the money.

  • FLOOR 30 You are the fund. You buy Halden with its own debt (act 1), and come back at the end to sell it (the epilogue).
  • FLOOR 4 You are the CEO. Close the gap. Write to staff. Miss dinner.
  • GROUND You are one row of the CEO's spreadsheet.
